Almost all the generations in existence today are aware of the famous James Bond film series. Since the launch of the first movie Dr. No. in 1962, the string now has released 26 films over 57 years. The flings of Bond, better referred to as "Bond girls," are as popular as the movie itself.

Ursula Andress - Honey Ryder, Dr. No.

Ursula Andress is a Swiss native film and television actress whose career in acting began in the '50s. She only rose to stardom in 1962 when she appeared on the very first James Bond movie Dr. No. playing the role of Honey Ryder. The character is widely recognized as the first Bond girl. 

During her younger years, she was also a model and a feminine symbol. In 1976, she played the role of Vesper Lynd in the James Bond parody Casino Royale. Today, at the age of 83, Andress lives in relaxation, dividing her time between her houses in Rome and Switzerland. 

Eva Green - Vesper Lynd, Casino Royale

Eva Green's role as Vesper Lynd in the 2006 James Bond movie Casino Royale earned her a BAFTA Rising Star Award. In the movie, her character, as a foreign liaison agent, has the task of ensuring that Bond suitably manages the money given by MI6. 

Green was born in Paris, and at the age of 39, she has an active career. After she first gained recognition as a theatre actress, Green made her first film appearance in 2003 in The Dreamers. Some of her other work up-to-date involved starring in Perfect Sense, Dark Shadows, and Dumbo.

Shirley Eaton - Jill Masterson, Goldfinger

The British actress and model Shirley Eaton was a Bond Girl named Jill Masterson in the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger. She was the main lady of the criminal Auric Goldfinger, who, with her powered binoculars, aided Goldfinger to win at cards. 

Although her career wasn't a lengthy one, she left a lasting memory in the industry as the golden girl. She appeared in a total of 29 films throughout her career, including The Girl Hunters and Ten Little Indians. Now at the age of 82, she lives in London, spending time with her family.

Léa Seydoux - Madeleine Swann, Spectre

Léa Seydoux is a 34-year-old French actress whose gates to international fame opened in 2015. This followed with her appearance in the James Bond movie Spectre, in which she played the role of Madeleine Swann. Her character was of a psychologist involved with the Hoffler Klinik organization. Farewell, My Queen, Zoe, and Kursk were some of Seydoux's other greatest hits. 

She received multiple award nominations for her talents during her short tenure. Seydoux won many of them, including two Lumières Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Although she doesn't identify herself as a model, she has appeared in several magazines and brands like Vogue and Louis Vuitton.

Eunice Gayson - Sylvia Trench, Dr. No. & From Russia With Love

Widely remembered as the first bond girl is Eunice Gayson, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 90. She appeared as Sylvia Trench in the first two James Bond movies, which were Dr. No. and From Russia with Love. 

After meeting Bond at a game of Baccarat, the character of Trench became a recurring love interest of him. Bond, while introducing himself to her in the movie, first said his famous line "Bond, James Bond." Gayson also made appearances in the TV series The Avengers and the musical Into the Woods.

Honor Blackman - Pussy Galore, Goldfinger

The British actress Honor Blackman had her breakthrough in the television series The Avengers, which aired in the early '60s. In 1964, she appeared in Goldfinger. In the movie, she was the leader of Flying Circus, which was a part of Goldfinger's "Operation Grand Slam.” 

Blackman is now 94 years old, and she had a very dynamic career in her younger years. In addition to film, television, and theatre, she also had an involvement in the singing profession. Her last appearance was in the comedy series You, Me & Them in 2015.

Olga Kurylenko - Camille Montes, Quantum Of Solace

Olga Kurylenko is an actress and model who has connections with various countries. She is of Ukranian and Russian descent, obtained French citizenship post-marriage, and currently resides in London. The role of Camille Montes in Quantum of Solace paved her way to stardom in 2008.

The character in the movie was a Bolivian girl in a mission to find General Medrano, the person who hurt her entire family when she was little. Today, at the age of 40, Kurylenko has already appeared in some great hits, including Oblivion, Johnny English Strikes Again, and the latest one in 2019 The Room.

Claudine Auger - Dominique "Domino" Derval, Thunderball

During her younger years, Claudine Auger was a beauty queen. Dominique "Domino" Derval was Auger's most famous role, performed in Thunderball. This character was the mistress of Emilio Largo. After finding out from Bond that Largo killed her brother, she avenges her sibling by killing Largo. 

Auger had a career spanning over 30 years. She appeared on several movies like Triple Cross and The Killing Game, and she even modeled almost unclothed in magazines. Unfortunately, not too long ago, in December 2019, Auger passed on at the age of 78, due to an illness she suffered from for a long time.

Luciana Paluzzi - Fiona Volpe, Thunderball

Luciana Paluzzi gave life to the character of Fiona Volpe in the 1965 James Bond movie Thunderball. Although she did not hope to become an actress as a young girl, her talents cleared up her path to fame. She looks pleasant in real life. Nevertheless, her character in Thunderball was the opposite because it was of a deadly assassin. 

Paluzzi appeared in several movies and TV shows during her career. However, a majority of them were in Italian. At 82 years of age, Paluzzi and her husband, Michael Jay Solomon, swaps between their houses in New York and Rome, with hopes of being in closer vicinity to their family.

Tanya Roberts - Stacey Sutton, A View To A Kill

Although she was born as Victoria Leigh Blum, she established herself under the stage name Tanya Roberts. Since the beginning of her career in the mid-'70s, Roberts took up some significant roles. For instance, she played Julie Rogers, Kiri, and Stacey Sutton in Charlie's Angels, The Beastmaster, and A View to a Kill, respectively. 

Her appearance in the James Bond movie (last listed above) involves fighting a billionaire who wrongfully took over her family's large oil business. Currently, Roberts is 64 years old and lives in Hollywood Hills, California. Her last on-screen performance was in That '70s Show, which she left in 2001 to take care of her dying husband.

Diana Rigg - Teresa Di Vicenzo, On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Diana Rigg is a British actress who was made a dame in 1994 for her services to drama. In 1969, she portrayed the wife of James Bond in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Her character's name was Teresa di Vicenzo, which later became Tracy Bond. 

Rigg was a theatre actress before she had her big break into television through her role as Emma Peel in The Avengers series. Another significant (and her latest) role she played was Lady Olenna Tyrell in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones. In the present, Rigg is 81 years old and lives in London.

Michelle Yeoh - Wai Lin, Tomorrow Never Dies

The Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh became a star in the '90s through the roles she played in Honk Kong action movies. However, she only gained international fame for her character of Colonel Wai Lin in the 1997 film Tomorrow Never Dies. 

In the movie, she is a Chinese spy and a master in mixed martial arts, who becomes Bond's ally. Yeoh's most recent appearance in 2019 was in Last Christmas. She also acted in the 2018 box office hit Crazy Rich Asians. Yeoh is now 57 years old, and you can expect her in movies like Avatar 2 and 3 in the upcoming years.

Jill St. John - Tiffany Case, Diamonds Are Forever

Jill St. John is now 79 years of age and is an American actress who appeared on countless movies during her career. She starred on Summer Love, Brenda Starr, and The Liquidator, among numerous others. One of her most significant roles as Tiffany Case, the small-time smuggler, was in the seventh James Bond film, Diamonds Are Forever. 

Initially, her character works for Bond's enemy. However, later she associates with and helps Bond defeat the said nemesis. Later in life, St. John grew a connection with nature and started gardening. She took up other adventures like skiing, river rafting, and hiking.

Bérénice Marlohe - Sévérine, Skyfall

The French actress Bérénice Marlohe has Chinese ancestry from the paternal side. Her childhood ambition was to become a pianist and artist. However, she ended up in the film industry. In the 2012 movie Skyfall, she portrays Sévérine, who befriends Bond to stop her boss but ends up shot in the head by Raoul Silva. 

To highlight some of her other work, Marlohe starred in the 2015 movie 5 to 7 and acted alongside Ryan Gosling in Song to Song. In regards to her television career, Marlohe mostly appeared on French television series. Today, the 40-year-old star endorses Omega Watches.

Lana Wood - Plenty O'Toole, Diamonds Are Forever

The Santa Monica native Lana Wood was born as Svetlana Gurdin. Since her parents gave her older sister the surname "Wood" following her acting career, they did the same to Lana. Her sister is the late American actress Natalie Wood. 

Lana gained much of her recognition from her role as Plenty O'Toole in the James Bond movie Diamonds Are Forever. The character was a casino worker who befriended wealthy men with the hopes of earning something extra. Even at the age of 73, Lana continues to appear in low-budget films frequently since 2008.

Carey Lowell - Pam Bouvier, Licence To Kill

After modeling for famous brands like Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein when she was younger, Carey Lowell stepped into the film industry with a role in Dangerously Close. Since then, she appeared as Bond girl Pam Bouvier on Licence to Kill and played the role of Jamie Ross on Law & Order. 

As Pam Bouvier, she was a former army pilot who went on to work as a CIA informer. She gets into a love triangle with Bond and Lupe Lamora and somehow wins over Bond in the end. Currently, Lowell is 56 years old. Following a pause in the mid-2000s, she returned to television on Blue Bloods in 2018.

Gloria Hendry - Rosie Carver, Live And Let Die

There's no doubt that Gloria Hendry was an absolute beauty in her youth, and various magazines catering to men featured her. She has continually thrived in her career as an actress after having her breakthrough in 1973, portraying Rosie Carver in Live and Let Die. 

In character, she was a CIA agent who was also a double agent for Dr. Kananga. Her task was to kill Bond, but ends up dead in the movie. The now 70-year-old actress played other notable roles in Black Caesar, Black Belt Jones, and Bare Knuckles. 

Britt Ekland - Mary Goodnight, The Man With The Gold Gun

In the 1974 James Bond movie The Man with the Gold Gun, Britt Ekland perfectly portrays the role of Bond's assistant Mary Goodnight. She later develops feelings towards Bond. In the '70s, Ekland was identified as a feminine symbol following her performance in the crim movie Get Carter. 

Her fame added on as she starred on other movies like Satan's Mistress, Moon in Scorpio, and The Children. Furthermore, the 77-year-old took part in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and Let's Dance 2018. Ekland currently resides in Los Angeles.

Carole Bouquet - Melina Havelock, For Your Eyes Only

Like many of the other Bond girls, Carole Bouquet is also a French. She is an actress and model, now 62. Since the beginning of her career in 1977, appeared in over 50 movies. Bouquet played the role of Florence in Too Beautiful for You, for which she won a César Award for Best Actress. 

In the role of Melina Havelock, Bouquet plays in For Your Eyes Only, she witnesses her parents' murder and aims to kill their murderer, Hector Gonzales. In addition to acting, Bouquet was a model for the luxury brand, Chanel, from the '80s through to the '90s.

Mie Hama - Kissy Suzuki, You Only Live Twice

As a Japanese actress, Mie Hama gained worldwide popularity for the portrayal of Kissy Suzuki in the fifth James Bond movie You Only Live Twice. She worked as a bus conductor in the past, and her life took an unexpected turn when a producer cast her. 

Kissy Suzuki is a ninja agent working for Tanaka, and she helps Bond find Blofeld's secret base. In 1967, Hama became the first Asian woman to appear in American over-18 magazines. At age 76, she is far away from television screens because she prefers to live a normal life.

Tsai Chin - Ling, You Only Live Twice

Tsai Chin is a Chinese-English actress, particularly famous in America as Auntie Lindo in The Joy Luck Club. Her career spans over six decades, with some of her best performances being in the movies The World of Suzie Wong, Golden Child, and You Only Live Twice. 

As Ling (the character in the James Bond movie), she was a spy for MI6. She had an intimate relationship with Bond but tipped and allowed his murder. Later in 2006, Chin appeared as Madame Wu in Casino Royale. As Chin is now 86, she seldom makes an appearance on the screens.

Catherine Schell - Nancy, On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Catherine Schell is a Hungarian-born British actress who is now 75 years old. Her career peaked during the late '60s and '70s when she acted on Doctor Who and Space: 1999. In 1969, she gave life to the character of Nancy in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. 

In the film, Nancy is a patient being treated for an allergy to potatoes. Like all the women at the institution, Nancy displays a liking towards Bond. Schell went into a lengthy hiatus (profession-wise) in 2004. However, you can expect her return in the BBC One/Netflix series Dracula, in 2020.

Trina Parks - Thumper, Diamonds Are Forever

Trina Parks is an American actress well-known for her role as Thumper in the 1971 movie Diamonds Are Forever. It was the seventh film in the James Bond series. As vicious as a snake, Thumper was one of the two female guards of Blofeld.

As of today, Parks is on the verge of turning 72 years old. In addition to acting, she was also a vocalist, choreographer, principal dancer, and dance instructor. Madeline Smith - Miss Caruso, Live And Let Die

Even at the age of 70, Madeline Smith has not given up on her career as an actress. She did disappear from the screens following the birth of her daughter in 1984. After a long break, she returned to acting in 2011.

Nearing the age of 59, the British actress Maryam d'Abo is still remembered as a Bond girl. She played Kara Milovy in the fifteenth James Bond movie The Living Daylights. She plays the role of a cellist. Even though she has a fictional boyfriend in the movie, she later catches the eye of Bond.

Since entering the film business in 1982, D'Abo performed in many movies and television series. Until September, White Nights, and Timelock, to name a few. D'Abo also appeared on the covers of various magazines, referencing her famous Bond role. In 2015, she modeled for fashion retailer JD Williams.

Lois Chiles - Dr. Holly Goodhead, Moonraker

The 72-year-old Lois Chiles is an American actress whose last on-screen appearance was in 2006. The role of Dr. Holly Goodhead was a prominent one, amongst many. She portrayed this role in the 1979 James Bond movie Moonraker, in which Goodhead aids Bond in a mission by flying a Moonraker shuttle.

Before she became an actress, Chiles had a flourishing career in modeling. As an actress, she was in The Great Gatsby, Wish Upon a Star, and Diary of a Hitman. Today, she enjoys art and likes to use her leisure time to paint.

Maud Adams - Octopussy, Octopussy

After being a contestant in the Miss Sweden contest, Maud Adams' career as a model took off. She became an actress after accepting a part in the 1970 drama film The Boys in the Band. She is now 74 years old and hasn't done any major professional work since the early 2000s.

The former model Denise Richards is now an active American actress. Amidst of her most well-known roles is Christmas Jones, played in the movie The World Is Not Enough. It was the nineteenth one in the James Bond movie series, and she portrayed a nuclear physicist who aided Bond to accomplish his mission.

The 48-year-old star has a very stable career. Good Advice and The Third Wheel were some of the movies she starred.
