Julie Christie - 81, Assam

Julie Christie was an image of revolution and modernity during the 1960s. The carefree and fun-loving role she played in movies like Billy Liar and Darling made her one of the popular young stars of the period. She was also in blockbuster movies like Doctor Zhivago, Troy, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Her career has been fruitful, as she’s won an Oscar, a BAFTA Award, and a Golden Globe. She hasn’t been so active in her acting career since the turn of the decade, but she’s currently on camera, working on the upcoming documentary Midnight Men - A John Schlesinger & Michael Childers Story.

Dame Julie Andrews – 85, Surrey

Come 2022; Dame Julie Andrews will be the voice of Marlena Gru in the upcoming movie, Minions: The Rise of Gru. She won’t be showing her face, but a few attentive movie fans will be able to discern that she was the same voice that delighted us in classic musicals like Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music.

In a career that has nearly spanned eight decades, Andrews has undoubtedly become a Hollywood legend. After all, not many actresses can boast of a BAFTA Award, an Oscar, two Emmys, and three Grammy Awards!

Jane Asher - 75, London

In the 1960s, when rock music was the biggest thing in London, and the Beatles were kings of the world, Jane Asher was the girlfriend of legendary Beatles' frontman Paul McCartney. But that is far from her only call to fame. She also has movies like Deep End, The Masque of the Red Death, and Alfie to her name.

These days, people might think she’s gone into retirement, but that’s far from the question, as she’s reportedly going to be in an upcoming movie titled 3 of a Kind. Asher likes to keep her hands busy, as she’s also an author and a businesswoman that sells kitchenware and cakes.

Dame Judi Dench – 86, Heworth

They say old age is an enemy of beauty, but Dame Judi Dench seems to defy that notion, as she still looks regal and elegant even at the age of 86. She’s stayed relevant, too, as she’s been in recent popular movies like Artemis Fowl and Murder on the Orient Express. She also just finished working on a movie titled Belfast, due to be released anytime soon.

With ten combined BAFTA awards, seven Olivier Awards, one Oscar, two Golden Globes, and a Tony Award to her credit, Dench’s legacy in the industry has been established. Her advocacy for charity and wildlife conservation has also added to her status.

Dame Helen Mirren - 75, London

Dame Helen Mirren has a massive bragging right: she is the first, as well as the only person to have won the Triple Crown of Acting in both the United Kingdom and the United States. The Triple Crown consists of an Oscar, an Emmy, and a Tony Award. This certainly describes how far Mirren has come in the industry.

Her most celebrated performance might be the role of Queen Elizabeth II. Mirren’s played this character on both stage and screen. She’s certainly a long way from retirement, as she’s been in recent blockbuster movie franchises like Fast and Furious. She’s also currently filming Shazam! Fury of the Gods.

Maggie Smith - 86, Ilford

Like most British on-screen legends, Dame Maggie Smith began her career as a stage actress. Her exposure to stage plays has led to her winning a Tony Award and being respected as one of the United Kingdom’s legendary stage actresses. Her on-screen credits are no less respected, as she’s been in famous movies like Sister Act and the Harry Potter franchise.

She’s also one of the few actresses to have won the Triple Crown of Acting. Smith has had her own struggles, as she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. But thankfully, she recovered and is fully back on her feet. She’s scheduled to appear in Downtown Abbey 2.

Vanessa Redgrave - 84, London

Vanessa Redgrave came from a family of actors. Her parents and siblings were all involved in the film industry. Later on, her husband and children continued the family tradition. Such a level of influence and devotion might be why Redgrave is one of the few actresses to have ever won the Triple Crown of Acting.

Her celebrated movie appearances include films like Morgan: A Suitable Case for Treatment, The Bostonians, and Mission Impossible. True to her devotion, she’s been nowhere else but the camera recently. Since 2021, she’s had four upcoming movies in her schedule, including The Medusa.

Brenda Blethyn - 75, Ramsgate

Some might say Brenda Blethyn made a late start to her acting career, as she only started seriously pursuing acting in her late 20s and after her first divorce. But better late than never, they say, and she surely has had no cause to regret her decision. After all, not many actresses can boast of a Golden Globe and a BAFTA award, as well as two Oscar nominations.

She starred in movies like Secrets & Lies, Pride & Prejudice, and Little Voice. Since 2011, she’s played a main role in a series called Vera. In 2020, she also took a main role in a series titled Kate & Koji.

Dame Eileen Atkins - 87, Clapton

Dame Eileen Atkins hasn’t been on-screen since 2019, when she last played the role of Ruth Ellingham in a series called Doc Martin. But she’s certainly been active on stage, and she’s set to play the role of Vera in a play called 4000 Miles.

Atkins’ accolades in the film industry are nothing to scoff at. She has won an Emmy Award, a BAFTA, and three Olivier awards. Looking at her career now, it’s hard to believe she almost got bankrupt in 1997 after she wrote the screenplay for a movie called Mrs. Dalloway and invested in the production.

Charlotte Rampling - 75, Sturmer

Charlotte Rampling was one of the popular beauties of Britain’s pop revolution in the 1960s. She started her career as a model, but that wasn’t her call to fame. It was when she was working as a secretary that she was recognized and approached by a casting agent. Some might say that it was by providence or fate, but she surely grabbed the opportunity.

Since then, she’s appeared in several independent films, all in English, French and Italian, as she can speak those languages. Some of her most notable movies include Stardust Memories, The Verdict, and Assassin’s Creed. She’s set to be in the upcoming movie Dune.

Gemma Jones - 78, Marylebone

Gemma Jones will mostly be known across the world for her role as Madam Poppy Pomfrey in the Harry Potter franchise. She’s also very famous for playing the role of Pamela Jones in the Bridget Jones franchise. Since Harry Potter is the third-highest-grossing movie franchise in the world, it’s likely her highest call to fame.

The fact though is, Jones has been a Hollywood regular way before Harry Potter. She was in Sense and Sensibility. She was also in series like Fall of Eagles and The Duchess of Duke Street. In 2021 alone, she has been on the set of three upcoming movies, including Blue and Benediction.

Angela Lansbury - 95, London

It’s not just the fact that Dame Angela Lansbury is almost a century old; it’s the fact that even at her age, she’s barely considering retirement! She’s reportedly expected to be on the set of an upcoming movie titled The Adventures of Billy Thunder. Lansbury has a history of working on movies like that as she was in adventures and animations like Anastasia, The Grinch, and Mary Poppins Returns.

But those movies only came later in her career. She has the unofficial distinction of being the earliest surviving person to be nominated for an Academy Award. Some of her best classics include Gaslight, The Harvey Girls, and The Manchurian Candidate.

Claire Bloom - 90, Finchley

From a young age, Claire Bloom had received proper education to help sharpen her talents. She attended schools focused on the arts and drama. But the fabulous results of her education might have gone unnoticed had her family not narrowly escaped death several times during the German bombing of the United Kingdom.

Thankfully, Hollywood was able to witness her rare skill, and we were blessed with movies like Limelight and Clash of the Titans. She’s still in the business of making money from acting, as she’s on the cast of the upcoming movie Sophie’s War.

Dame Joan Collins - 88, London

Dame Joan Collins’ acting career is a well-celebrated one. She was a star of movies like The Virgin Queen, Esther and the King, and Land of the Pharaohs. She also won a Golden Globe, a People’s Choice Award, and a Primetime Emmy nomination.

But she was known for more than just her acting. In fact, she was recognized royally for her passion for charity. Her writing also hasn’t gone unnoticed, as she’s a columnist and a best-selling author, having sold more than 50 million copies of her books. She was recently on the set of an upcoming musical titled Tomorrow Morning.

Stephanie Beacham - 74, Barnet

Stephanie Beacham is a long-time favorite of British television fans. Her popular roles in British series like Tenko and Connie can hardly be forgotten. She did branch to an American audience when she played the character of Sable Colby in The Colbys. She was also in the NBC series Sister Kate, for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination.

Her return to British television saw her act in Bad Girls and take the role of Martha Fraser in Coronation Street. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2009, but thankfully she recovered, and as a result, we can expect to see her in three upcoming movies, one of which is Renegades.

Jacqueline Bisset – 76, Weybridge

Jacqueline Bisset thrilled both fans and critics with her performance in The Sweet Ride, to the extent that she earned a Golden Globe nomination for Most Promising Newcomer. She didn’t step on her brakes after that; she stepped on the gas instead and continued to dazzle us with movies like Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe? Under the Volcano, and Murder on the Orient Express (1974).

Bisset got people asking for her anti-aging formula when she won a Golden Globe Award for her role in the series Dancing on the Edge. She might do it again as she has at least four upcoming projects in tow.

Petula Clark – 88, Ewell

There’s a reason why Petula Clark was called The First Lady of the British Invasion in the United States. Her voice and musical style were irresistible, and as a result, her songs did a good job of spreading the British rock and pop revolution in the United States. Few ardent music listeners of the 1960s wouldn’t remember her signature song Downtown.

Clark’s career was made all the more impressive because she recorded songs in four other languages apart from English. Her music has put a lot of cash in the bank for her, but she’s still doing it for the passion. She released an album titled Vu d'ici in 2018.

Pauline Collins - 80, Exmouth

Few British television fans know that Pauline Collins was once offered an important role in the famous series Doctor Who, but she rejected it. Looking at her career so far, one can’t exactly say she has regretted her decision. Ever since she became famous for playing Sarah Moffat in Upstairs, Downstairs, she hasn’t looked back.

She is the star of the popular movie Shirley Valentine, which won her a BAFTA Award and earned her an Oscar nomination. At 80, she’s showing no intention of slowing down, as she’s been selected among the cast of the upcoming movie Byrd and the Bees.

Wendy Craig - 87, Sacriston

The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama has trained some of Britain’s finest actresses and actors. Wendy Craig is a fine example. She became incredibly popular for the typical middle-class housewife character she played in famous sitcoms like Not in Front of the Children, ...And Mother Makes Three, and ...And Mother Makes Five.

She was also in the popular series Butterfly. It’s been several decades since then, but Craig has stayed relevant with several on-screen appearances. Since 2002, she’s had a regular role in a medical series called Doctors. After leaving the series in 2019, she went on to act in a movie called Transference.

Anne Reid - 85, Newcastle upon Tyne

Anne Reid’s role as the down-to-earth, middle-class hairdresser in the legendary British series Coronation Street will always be remembered in British television. She played the character of Valerie Barlow, who had a somewhat bumpy affair with Ken Barlow in the series until the character’s death in 1971.

After that stint, she landed more roles in popular series like Dinnerladies and Last Tango in Halifax. Unlike several actresses her age, Reid has managed to stay very active with her profession. She has done several stage performances, but she’s also stayed relevant on camera. She was in a 2021 movie titled SAS: Red Notice.

Les Dennis - 67, Liverpool

Family Fortunes made a return to British television in 2020 after 18 years of absence. People familiar with the game show might have yearned for Les Dennis’s return as the host of the show. Well, he didn’t, as he’s moved on to other things since he left Family Fortunes in 2002.

He’s gone on to establish himself as a familiar face with appearances in Celebrity Big Brother and the series Coronation Street. He also presented shows like In the Grid and TV Now and Then. He’s kept up with his movie appearances as well, as he was recently in a 2021 film titled Sideshow.

Anthony Hopkins - 83, Port Talbot

Anthony Hopkins is a pretty familiar face both in the United Kingdom and Hollywood. As a matter of fact, his appearances in recent blockbusters like Transformers: The Last Knight and the Thor movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe mean he’s famous and currently relevant internationally. That’s not a light feat for someone who has been acting since 1960 and has been in classics like The Mask of Zorro and the Hannibal Lecter movies.

Hopkins has suffered from several vices in his lifetime, such as his addiction to smoking and taking liquor. Thankfully, he overcame them and kept his career on track. He’ll be in the upcoming movie Zero Contact.

Barbara Knox - 87, Oldham

Barbara Knox is another star of Coronation Street. In fact, she is one of the cast members to have been on the series the longest, second only to William Roache, who takes the role of Kevin Barlow. Knox’s character in the series, Rita Tanner, has developed into something of a mother figure to several of the other characters.

It’s quite amazing that Knox has remained loyal to Coronation Street for so long. She has rarely appeared in any other project since she permanently resumed her role in 1972. The only other on-screen appearances she’s made have mostly been on quiz shows and reality talk shows.

Charles Dance - 74, Redditch

You could say Charles Dance achieved his highest level of fame at an age where several of his colleagues were already entering or considering retirement. He was already a well-known name in Hollywood, having starred in famous classics like The Jewel in the Crown, The Golden Child, and Aliens 3.

But his appearance as Tywin Lannister in the HBO series Game of Throne spread his fame to the farthest corners of the planet. He was also in the 2019 blockbuster Godzilla: King of the Monsters. He is practically on a roll, as since 2021, he’s been cast for at least five upcoming movies, including The King’s Man.

Charles Shaughnessy - 66, London

Charles Shaughnessy is one of those who had the luck of being introduced to show business from a very young age. His mother was an actress, and his father was the scriptwriter for Upstairs, Downstairs. Despite this, though, it can be said that romance was the determining factor in Shaughnessy’s career.

He actually studied law at the University of Cambridge, but because he was interested in an affair with actress Susan Fallender, he moved to the United States, which is where he started his acting career. Thanks to that, we’ve seen him on series like Days of Our Lives and The Nanny. He’s filming an upcoming movie titled The Magic.

Christina Pickles - 86, Halifax

Believe it or not, Christina Pickles is still on the scene and in a big way, in fact. In 2018, she won a Primetime Emmy Award for her performance in the Vimeo series, Break a Hip. She’s also set to be in a drama titled Finding Hannah. Most of the Pickles’ fans will fondly remember her for her earlier roles, though.

Her most popular major role will probably be that of Helen Rosenthal, the competent nurse who survived breast cancer in the medical series St. Elsewhere. She also frequently made guest appearances on Friends. She was in movies like Sherlock Holmes, Legends of the Fall, and Romeo + Juliet.

Sir Derek Jacobi - 82, Leytonstone

Sir Derek Jacobi is one of those rare actors that have gained so much prominence despite doing most of their work in the theatre. He has been in many William Shakespeare stage productions, and he’s won two Olivier Awards and a Tony Award in recognition of his prowess.

He hasn’t completely avoided acting on camera, though, and he’s even won a BAFTA and two Primetime Emmy Awards for his television appearances. Movie fans might recognize him from films like Gladiator, Cinderella, and Murder on the Orient Express (2017). He’s been cast in the upcoming movie, James and Lucia.

Eileen Derbyshire - 89, Urmston

Eileen Derbyshire was the longest-serving female cast member in Coronation Street before her retirement in 2016. She did return for a cameo appearance in 2019, but there have been serious doubts about whether she’ll fully return. She said she had to leave for personal reasons, and it was initially thought that she would eventually come back.

There’s been nothing indicating anything of such recently, and it looks more in doubt as she’s only getting older. Derbyshire played the character of Emily Bishop during her time on Coronation Street, and that has been the only major role of her entire acting career.

Elizabeth Rees-Williams - 85, Cardiff

Elizabeth Rees-Williams hasn’t been in more than two acting projects in her lifetime, and that’s because she’s more of a socialite than an actress. Born to a royal family, she achieved her fame by living a life of affluence and having important connections. She had quite the adventure when it came to romance, as she has been married and divorced at least three times.

Her major on-screen appearances are mostly limited to reality shows and documentaries like Question Time and 50 Films to See Before You Die. She had brief acting stints in Graham’s Gang and BBC2 Playhouse. She was most recently in a 2019 documentary titled Daughters of Shanghai.

Glenda Jackson - 85, Birkenhead

Glenda Jackson is certainly a high achiever. Not only is she one of the very few actresses to have won the Triple Crown of Acting, but she’s also a well-respected politician. After accomplishing so much as an actress, she went into a long retirement to pursue her political ambitions.

She managed to become a junior minister and a member of parliament in her two-decades-long political career. But now she’s back, and with a bang, it seems. In 2021 alone, she’s been involved in two movies, namely Mothering Sunday and the upcoming movie titled The Great Escaper.

Hugh Grant - 60, London

Hugh Grant is an actor that can be regarded as internationally famous. His appearance in Four Weddings and a Funeral gave him his first taste of international fame. It also won him a Golden Globe and a BAFTA Award. Grant initially starred in several romantic comedies, but then he went on to appear in action and sci-fi flicks like Cloud Atlas and The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Despite his genius, he’s had his own controversies and was once placed under arrest for being involved with a female escort. Grant quickly put the incident behind him. He’s currently filming a much-anticipated movie titled Dungeons and Dragons.

Jeremy Irons – 72, Cowes

Jeremy Irons will be one of the familiar faces in an upcoming movie about the life of the legendary fashion designer Guccio Gucci and his family. The movie is highly anticipated because of its storyline and perhaps because it stars Lady Gaga. It’s titled House of Gucci. People familiar with Jeremy Iron’s acting know that should be one of the anticipated things about the movie.

He’s always delighted his fans with his performances in movies like Assasin’s Creed, Dungeons and Dragons (2000) and his role as Alfred Pennyworth, Batman’s Butler in the DC Extended Universe. Irons is one of the few who have won the Triple Crown of Acting.

Jessica Benton – 79, Hampstead

The BBC series, The Onedin Line, is Jessica Benton’s primary call to fame. Since the series ended in 1980, she has barely been seen on-screen. It might seem she has chosen to live the low-key life with her family.

There’s been hardly any news about her private life as well. In fact, the only major news about her private life came out in 1993 when it was revealed that she was living in Dorset with her family and livestock. She’s apparently enjoying her retirement and secret lifestyle. The only time she’s appeared on-screen recently was in a 2008 documentary titled The Cult Of…

Jim Broadbent – 72, Holton cum Beckering,

Jim Broadbent was the actor that played the character of Horrace Slughorn in the record-breaking franchise Harry Potter. That wouldn’t be the end to his appearance in blockbuster fantasies, as he joined the famous series, Game of Thrones in 2017. Those projects have surely won Broadbent a lot of money, but the movies that won him his highest honors are surprisingly not quite as adventurous.

For his role in the biographical drama Iris, he won an Oscar and a Golden Globe. He also won a BAFTA for his performance in Moulin Rouge! He recently lent his acting skills to an upcoming movie, A Boy Called Christmas.

Joely Richardson – 56, Marylebone

It’s easy to assume that Joely Richardson is keeping an anti-aging secret. Her appearance has barely changed since she dazzled audiences in the movie 101 Dalmatians. That isn’t her most popular role, though. That would arguably go to the character of Julia McNamara in the series Nip/Tuck.

She was also particularly impressive in movies like The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo, Anonymous, and, very recently, Red Sparrow. She was active for most of 2021 in a series called The Sandman. But she has since switched her efforts to the upcoming movie The Lost Girls.

Julie Walters – 71, Edgbaston

Dame Julie Walters has several claims to international fame, but her most particular will be the role of Molly Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise. If by any chance you didn’t watch Harry Potter, then surely you must have seen her in Mary Poppins Returns or Mamma Mia! and its 2018 sequel, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

Or at least you’ve heard her voice in the 2012 animation Brave. If none of those names ring a bell, then perhaps you should see her latest movie, The Secret Garden. But that’s probably a stretch, as almost all movie fans would have somehow come across this legendary actress.

June Brown – 94, Suffolk

For the first time in her life, in February 2020, June Brown revealed that she was leaving the popular BBC series EastEnders, never to return. It could be said that her decision wasn’t a matter of choice, but only an aftermath of her old age, as it was revealed in 2015 that her eyesight was failing due to macular degeneration.

Brown played the role of Dot Cotton on EastEnders. She did leave the show in 1993, but she resumed her role in 1997. She is not a one-show actress, as she has lent her skills to several other movies and series.

Kevin Mcnally - 65, Bristol

If you watched the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, then you’ll be familiar with this face. It just looks a bit strange without the beards. Kevin Mcnally is the man who acted the role of the bearded pirate and Jack Sparrow’s assistant, Joshamee Gibbs. That’s his most popular role, but it’s far from his only one.

He was in movies like Valkyrie, Conspiracy, and Johnny English Reborn. He has also lent his voice to video games like Assassin’s Creed and Kingdom Hearts. He’s been pretty busy recently, having worked on up to three upcoming films in 2021. He’s currently on the set of a project titled Argh.

Leonard Whiting - 71, London

Leonard Whiting played the character of Romeo in the 1968 movie adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, and his life hasn’t been the same since then. Apart from bringing him Hollywood fame, the movie earned him his first and only Golden Globe Award. Whiting wasn’t exactly a one-time-luck star that appeared out of nowhere. As a kid, he had built up a little reputation for himself as a singer.

This talent helped him appear in several plays and musicals, even after his appearance in Romeo and Juliet. Whiting sort of retired from on-screen acting in 1995. He came out of retirement briefly in 2014 to make the movie Social Suicide.

Liam Neeson - 69, Ballymena

Liam Neeson is one of the few action stars from the 1980s that can get fans to anticipate his new releases. He has done enough in the acting industry to earn that status. He has several blockbuster action and sci-fi movies to his credit. These include Batman Begins, the Taken Franchise, and the Star Wars franchise.

Despite his reputation as an action star, he actually became famous for his appearances in dramas like Schindler’s List, Nell, and Michael Collins. He seems to have stuck with the action movies recently, though, as his five upcoming projects are all in the action and thriller genre, including the one titled Retribution.

Malcolm McDowell - 78, Horsforth

Malcolm McDowell has played a lot of villainous roles in his career, so that would explain why a lot of people associate him with being the bad guy. Some of his most famous bad guy roles include the character of Alex DeLarge in A Clockwork Orange and that of Dr. Tolian Soran in Star Trek Generations.

He hasn’t always taken villainous roles in his career. He was even a protagonist in the popular horror franchise Halloween. McDowell is an extremely busy man these days, as he’s been included in the cast of up to 11 projects. He’s actually playing the bad guy in the one titled Monster Butler.

Michael Caine - 88, London

Sir Michael Caine is a revered veteran of the industry. He belongs to the very top when it comes to fame, accomplishments, or money. Not only is he one of the highest-grossing box office stars in the world, but he’s also won one BAFTA, two Oscars, and three Golden Globes.

Younger movie fans would remember him for his role in the Dark Knight trilogy and other movies like Now You See Me and Tenet. But Caine has been in acting in classics like Alfie and The Italian Job from the 1960s. He’ll be around for a while, as he’s scheduled to be in the anticipated movie, Now You See Me 3.

Miranda Richardson - 63, Southport

Most movie enthusiasts will remember her for her brilliant performances in Enchanted April and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but Miranda Richardson is one of those actresses that have conquered both the screen and the stage. She has been nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actress for her stage performance.

For the screen, she has won a BAFTA Award and two Golden Globes. She was part of a highly-anticipated prequel to the blockbuster series Game of Thrones. The prequel was canceled in 2019, so she moved on to other things, like her new upcoming series, The House.

Pam St Clement - 79, Harrow on the Hill

Pam St Clement was one of the cast members who stayed the longest on the BBC series East Enders. She joined the series in 1986 to take on the role of Pat Butcher. This role led to her prominence as a British television legend. By 2006, she was earning nice money after signing a £200,000 to keep her on the show till 2008.

Clement eventually left in 2012 but made a brief return in 2016. She apparently moved on to other things after EastEnders, as she acted in a TV series titled Casualty from 2016 to 2017. She was also in an episode of This Morning in 2020.

Sir Patrick Stewart - 81, Mirfield

Sir Patrick Stewart is a household name in the sci-fi action community. It’s hard to say which of his prominent roles are the most popular: either his role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in the Star Trek franchise or that of Professor Xavier in the X-Men franchise. The future might determine, though, if his current role in the ongoing series Star Trek: Picard is anything to go by.

Despite his prominence in science fiction, Stewart might be a traditional actor down to the core. After all, he started his career with a long stint in the Royal Shakespeare Company. This explains why he’s won two Olivier Awards in his career.

Peter Dean - 82, Hoxton

Peter Dean studied his art from one of the best in the person of Joan Littlewood, who many have called the Mother of Modern Theatre. It’s no wonder then that he was invited to play the character of Pete Beatle in EastEnders. He took that role until he left the show in 1993.

Dean’s departure from EastEnders apparently wasn’t under favorable conditions, as his contract was, in fact, terminated. He didn’t take his fall lightly, as he responded by slamming the show’s producers in tabloids. He’s since moved on and is looking set to make his money from the upcoming movie Freedom Dance.

Robert Carlyle – 60, Glasgow

Robert Carlyle is another actor that has been associated with his villainous roles. Described as an actor of pure intensity, his psychopathic and murderous characters are particularly hard to forget. These include the character of Francis Begbie in Trainspotting or his famous role as the bad guy Renard in James Bond’s The World is not Enough.

It’s no wonder he was selected to play the role of Adolf Hitler in the miniseries Hitler: The Rise of Evil. Since 2020, he’s been plying his trade as Prime Minister Robert Sutherland in the series Cobra.

Rowan Atkinson – 66, Consett

It would be very easy to assume that Rowan Atkinson is known by literally every movie fan on earth. If not by name, then at least by his face. His role as Mr. Bean has not only granted him incredible affluence due to its massive financial success; it has made him a huge internet sensation. Mr. Bean is one of the most-watched Youtube channels in the world. It’s also one of the most followed Facebook pages.

To avoid being known for only Mr. Bean, Atkinson has acted in other movies. He’s not done with the character yet though, as he reportedly has his eyes on an upcoming Mr. Bean project.

Sally Ann Howes – 91, London

Sally Ann Howes is almost a century old, and it has been decades since she was last on-screen, but her role as Truly Scrumptious in the legendary classic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ensures her name will always be remembered.

Howes was, first and foremost, a stage performer and a singer, and it is those art forms that she always pursued with the most interest. It’s no wonder then that she appeared in more musicals and stage plays than she appeared in films in her career. She hasn’t announced her retirement from acting, but she hasn’t been seen on a major stage or screen since 2008.

Sarah Lancashire – 56, Oldham

It’s a bit ironic that Sarah Lancashire wasn’t really interested in being an actress at first. She was initially interested in only working behind the camera until, as she revealed, her time at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama made her realize that she loved acting. Well, she can be thankful to the school as she has achieved so much as an actress.

She’s been in popular British series like Coronation Street, Last Tango in Halifax, and Where the Heart is. At some point in her career, she was the UK’s highest-paid actress. As of late, she’s reportedly been filming the pilot for a new upcoming series titled Julia.

Joanna Lumley - 75, British India

The Absolutely Fabulous superstar Joanna Lumley was born in the exotic Srinagar, Kashmir, British India, but made a name for herself as a bona fide British actress. In the early days of her career, she also worked as a model. Additionally, Lumley is a human rights activist who also supports animal welfare groups.

At the age of 75, this bombshell showbiz pro is still doing what she does best. She played Aunt Emma in 2013's unforgettable movie The Wolf of Wall Street and has most recently appeared in the 2021 comedy-drama series Finding Alice as well as the thriller The Picture of Dorian Gray.

Bradley Walsh, 60 - $8 Million

From playing soccer to singing, presenting TV shows, and acting, Bradley Walsh has done it all. He started out playing for the Wormley Rovers upon graduating high school, only to then start his career on TV. Today, Bradley’s released albums like Chasing Dreams, played in theater production like Peter Pan and is currently portraying Graham O’Brien in the Doctor Who series. Through it all, Bradley’s earned himself an $8 million fortune! In 2020 he also presented The Family Chase and Beat the Chasers. Bradley has been married to Donna Derby since 1997, and together, they’ve had one son.
