Iconic singer Cyndi Lauper met her husband David Thornton in 1991. It was on the set of the film Off and Running. She said in an interview that she was going through a rough time during that period, as she had broken up with her ex-boyfriend David Wolff. But after meeting Thornton everything changed.

They celebrated their wedding later that year and they're still going strong. They have only one son, Declyn Wallace Thornton Lauper. Also, the family starred in a television reality show titled Cyndi Lauper: Still So Unusual, about her finding a balance between business and her personal life.
