Marilyn Monroe
Of course, when we think of beautiful women, Marilyn Monroe's name will pop to mind. Even though it has been nearly six decades since her death, Monroe will always be identified as an epitome of beauty. The actress and model from the Golden Age of Hollywood was a feminine symbol of her time.
Monroe's foxy identity emerged with her role in Niagara, and her career continued with starring roles in several films, including The Seven Year Itch and Some Like It Hot. To the loss of the entire entertainment industry, Monroe died young (aged 36) due to a drug overdose in 1963.
Blake Lively
Blake Lively is an actress who today's younger generations will quickly identify because they've probably watched Gossip Girls on Netflix. There's no doubt that the 32-year-old is a gorgeous woman because she won the heart of Ryan Reynold, didn't she?
A mother of three children with an incredibly successful career, Lively is something of a role model for all the ladies out there. She hasn't been an active figure on television lately but did star on the big screen for The Rhythm Section in 2020. According to IMDB, it has also been announced that she'll star in a new movie, The Husband's Secret.
Emma Watson
You didn't think that there'd be a 'world's most beautiful women' list without Emma Watson, did you? Of course not, because she is hands down the real beauty of the 21st century, both inside and out. Now a Browns University graduate, the 30-year-old continues her journey as an actress, while also actively fighting for gender equality.
We don't have to tell you how Watson rose to fame. But just in case, she caught the eye of the whole world after giving life to Hermione Granger's character on the Harry Potter film series. In 2017, Watson played Belle in Beauty and the Beast and starred in Little Women in 2019.
Audrey Hepburn
Best known for playing the lead in Breakfast at Tiffany's, Audrey Hepburn is another legendary female from Classical Hollywood cinema. She was ranked the third greatest female screen legend of the time by the American Film Institute. Her charm was extraordinary, which paved the way for a flow of incoming work.
In addition to her flourishing career in show business, Hepburn was also a humanitarian who was a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF. Like all good things coming to an end, Hepburn passed away from appendix cancer in 1993, leaving behind two sons and her partner at the time, Robert Wolders.
Natalie Portman
At times a steamy woman, and others, a charming lady, Natalie Portman can pull off any look that she wants to. The Israeli-American actress and filmmaker has won 39 awards (including an Oscar) for her work in the entertainment industry.
Portman has got both beauty and brains, which is why she is also a Harvard University graduate. Now going on her eighth year of a happy marriage and parenting two children, it's only right to say that Portman is living the dream. So far, she has been well-acclaimed for her acting in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Black Swan, Closer, and Jackie.
Elizabeth Taylor
Elizabeth Taylor must have been drop-dead gorgeous because how else did she get seven men to marry her? That's not the only reason for us to think she was beautiful. The impact she had on the classical age of cinema was huge, and no ordinary girl could've done that.
Almost all of Taylor's work attracted attention and received praise. But if we had to pick some of her best work, A Place in the Sun, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolfe?, and The Taming of the Shrew would top the list. Taylor lived a long and full life for 79 years before her heart problems caught up to her in 2011.
Monica Belucci
Just when she stepped into her teen years, Monica Bellucci began modeling. She even left law school later in life and moved to Milan to pursue modeling at a professional level. One thing led to another, and before you know it, she was posing for French Elle, Dolce & Gabbana, Vanity Fair, Maxim, and so on.
With her jaw-dropping appearances, it didn't take long for her to be identified as a feminine symbol, and subsequently, enter the film industry. Now a 55-year-old mother of two, Bellucci, is known for her work in Malena, Irreversible, and The Matrix films (for American beholders).
Beyoncé
Would this even be a list of gorgeous women without Queen Bey in it? An undeniably influential figure in pop culture, Beyonce came under the spotlight as the lead vocalist of Destiny's Child. Today, she is one of the most famous singers in the world, with an Instagram following of 148 million.
Sure, she always styles her long luscious hair in trendsetting styles and works her makeup on point. But there's no denying that she's a natural beauty. Happily married and a mother of three in the present, let's look at some of her best work. Some popular Beyonce songs are Halo, Crazy In Love, and Single Ladies.
Ava Gardner
Another star from Hollywood's Golden Age, Ava Gardner, was a famous actress in her day. It has been three decades since she passed on, but just like her name came up on this list, she will continue to be remembered.
Some of Gardner's critically acclaimed work was on Mogambo, and The Night of the Iguana. She shot to fame with her appearances in Show Boat, On the Beach, and more. Gardner's career as an actress lasted around four decades and only ended with her death in 1990. Hollywood truly lost one of its most talented and elegant actresses that day.
Marine Vacth
If you don't know who Marine Vacth is, it's because she is still an up and coming actress and also because she is from France. As the photo above shows, Vacth is a natural beauty who needs no makeup to look her best.
Still only 29 years old, she began her acting career in 2011. However, she has been modeling for brands like H&M, Yves Saint Laurent, and Chloe before that. Vacth's roles as Tessa on My Piece of the Pie goes as her first acting credit. Later, she worked on Young & Beautiful, If You Saw His Heart, and most recently (in 2019), Pinnochio.
Scarlett Johansson
With her films grossing over $14.3 billion worldwide, Scarlett Johansson stands ninth in the list of highest-grossing box office stars. We can all agree that she is truly someone with a hypnotic sensation of beauty, no? Well, that's likely why she's been called a feminine symbol.
The work that Johansson has done so far only being 35 of age is impressive. She is best known for her role as Black Widow on The Avengers and Captain America movies. Later in 2020, a film named Black Widow (based on her character) will hit cinemas.
Miranda Kerr
Miranda Kerr is an Australian model and businesswoman who gained recognition as a Victoria's Secret Angel. Well, the "angel" part is truly on point. Just look at her with those dimples. If we can all look half as good as Kerr after birthing three children—it's a win.
The 37-year-old has been on Forbes' list of highest-earning models since 2008. While her fame as a model has only expanded over the years, Kerr is now the proud owner of a successful organic skincare line, KORA Organics. She has been married to the CEO of Snap Inc., Evan Spiegel, since 2017.
Gigi Hadid
Gigi Hadid is a fashion model and pop culture icon, who the younger generations look up to. Her mother was, and her sister and brother are still in the modeling industry themselves. Currently signed with IMG Models, Hadid has walked the runway for various brands, including Versace, Chanel, and Balmain.
We can't even begin to tell you the number of magazine covers she's appeared in, for instance, Vogue (in many countries) and Elle. Hadid has been in and on and off relationship with the British teen heartthrob, Zayn Malik, since 2015. The two are now expecting a child together.
Eva Green
Maybe it's her smokey eye look or the flawless features she carries or both, Eva Green looks like a goddess from another world. But then again, we're not surprised because she is a Frenchwoman. An actress and model who is now on the verge of turning 40, Green is well-recognized for playing the Bond girl Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale.
Green's name became known to the entire world after playing Sibylla, Queen of Jerusalem, on the Kingdom of Heaven in 2005. Since then, she has displayed her talents on Dark Shadows, 300: Rise of an Empire, and Euphoria. In 2020, Green came on a few episodes of The Luminaries.
Eva Mendes
Here we have another Eva, but one that is from Latin American origins. Born to Cuban parents in Miami, Florida, Eva Mendes grew up to become a successful actress, model, and businesswoman. She has been the long-time girlfriend of the Canadian actor Ryan Gosling, with who she shares two daughters.
During her acting career (which ended in 2014), Mendes has gone to star in movies like Ghost Rider, We Own the Night, and Bad Lieutenant, among others. The 46-year-old now allocates most of her time on her fashion line, Eva by Eva Mendes, and being the creative director of CIRCA Beauty.
Alicia Vikander
Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1988, Alicia Vikander is an Oscar-winning actress. To her, worldwide fame followed with her roles as Verra Brittain, Ava (humanoid robot), and Gerda Wegener in Testament of Youth, Ex Machina, and The Danish Girl, respectively.
At only 31 years of age, Vikander's award total is at a whopping 30. If her career continues to advance at this rate, there's no doubt that she'd be able to touch the sky (figuratively), given her perfection. Vikander has been married to the German actor Michael Fassbender since 2017 and calls Lisbon, Portugal, home.
Zoe Saldana
Zoe Saldana was lucky (and deserving, of course) enough to be able to win roles on the two highest-grossing films of all time: Avatar and Avengers: Endgame. These two appearances have rocketed her rank to second on the list of highest-grossing actresses.
Some of the other notable works she's been in include Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Trek Beyond. You can also expect to see her reprise the role of Neytiri on Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 in the coming years. All work-related things aside, can we just take a moment to take in how painfully beautiful she is?
Léa Seydoux
Red lips are a classic look often embraced by the females in France. You can see where we're going with this, right? The stunner in the photo above is none other than the French actress, Lea Seydoux, who is widely acclaimed for her role in Blue Is the Warmest Colour.
However, because James Bond movies stand out among everything else, Seydoux garnered international attention after being the hot blonde Bond girl in Spectre—a role she'll play again in No Time to Die in 2020. While being a prominent star in French cinema, Seydoux also raises her toddler son.
Anita Ekberg
Just by looking at her photo, you can tell that Anita Ekberg was one of the prettiest women to have walked on earth. Born in 1931, she was a Swedish actress, whose work was not only limited to Sweden but also extended to American and European cinemas.
Ekberg shot to fame in 1960, after giving life to Sylvia's character on La Dolce Vita. The amount of work she's done during her 83 years of life is almost unfollowable. But to name some, Woman Times Seven, The Divorce, and Killer Nun. Ekberg passed away in 2015.
Jennifer Lopez
If you didn't think that Jennifer Lopez was going to be on this list, you could be two things. One, you don't know her (a shocker obviously), or two, you have poor taste. Regardless, here we are, talking about a flaming hot woman, who is an actress, singer, and a character in popular culture.
Lopez, being the boss lady that she is, was the first Latin American woman to make more than a million dollars for a film. That's right, she is super rich and talented, for which she has over 160 awards to show. We can't wait to see her on Marry Me.
Cindy Crawford
Cindy Crawford is so famous that both the old and young generations know her for what she does—modeling and acting. Her work in fashion campaigns, walking runways, and modeling for magazine covers for reputed brands are so extensive. From Calvin Klein to Hermes to Cosmopolitan to Versace—you name it, and she's worked with them.
It's pretty amazing to see how Crawford has maintained such a successful career, while being happily married for over two decades, and also raising two children. Her daughter, Kaia Gerber, who's inherited her mother's beauty, began following in her mother's footsteps from the age of 10.
Jean Shrimpton
This particular photo of Jean Shrimpton reflects on her beauty so well. We say so because she is truly as beautiful as a garden of flowers. Shrimpton is a British model, who was a significant part of the Swinging London revolution back in the '60s.
Seeing how well her work as a model was going since she began at the age of 17, it's no surprise that she never looked back. In 1967, she played the co-lead in Privilege alongside Paul Jones, but her professional work has always revolved around the modeling industry. Shrimpton is now 77 years and has been married to Michael Cox since 1979.
Kate Moss
Kate Moss has been in the modeling industry since 1988 but only earned recognition in the mid-'90s. Her timing couldn't have been better. Why? Because it was the time when the 'heroin chic' fashion trend was blooming, and Moss reflected on the wave so well.
Moss earned the legendary icon status after collaborating with Calvin Klein. Some of her later work involved features in Balenciaga, Burberry, and Givenchy campaigns. Note that it's only a fraction of her work because we can't find adequate space to tell you about all of her work. Now aged 46, Moss is a mother of a 17-yar-old daughter.
Natalie Wood
From the '40s all through to the '80s (pretty much until her death), Natalie Wood's name was a big one. Although born in San Francisco, she was of Russian descent. Wood was no stranger to the screens as she began acting at the age of four.
Back in the day, she could turn heads anywhere she went because of her raw beauty. Wood was twice the wife of fellow actor Robert Wagner. She died young, at only 43 years of age, while partying off Catalina Island in her husband's yacht. If her death was a freak accident or murder remains a mystery to this day.
Gene Tierney
Last, but certainly not least, we have Gene Tierney, who was an actress for the better part of her life. She was recognized as a "leading lady," meaning she played lead roles in most of her work. Tierney was positively acknowledged for her work in Laura, Leave Her to Heaven, Heaven Can Wait, and Whirlpool.
Her unique and eye-catching features made her one of the most alluring ladies of the time, which likely made admirers come begging for her hand. However, only two such suitors got to call her wife before she found peace in 1991.
Rita Hayworth
Rita Hayworth was an American actress and dancer, who was so pretty that every woman back then followed her style. In a career that spanned over four decades, she secured 66 acting credits. Hayworth's foxy and desirable side came to light with her work on Gilda in 1946.
Since then, she has always been approached as something of a glamorous figure, which she is well-deserving of if you ask us. It also explains her five marriages to some of the industry's finest. Before Alzheimer's disease took her life in 1987, Hayworth left some remarkable work to remember, for instance, Pal Joey, Cover Girl, and Separate Tables.
Grace Kelly
Not only did Grace Kelly look like a princess, but she was the Princess of Monaco—a title she obtained following her marriage to Prince Rainier III. Before becoming a royal, she was a beautiful and talented '50's actress. Her career was a brief one, but during that time, Kelly won many awards, including an Oscar.
Kelly was a humble and down to earth woman, who did not even wear a tiara to her grand royal wedding. After gifting three children to the world, she passed away following a horrific car crash in 1982.
Penelope Cruz
It's almost as if there aren't any words to explain how great Penelope Cruz looks. The Spanish actress and model has been in the entertainment industry since she was a teenager. It was the ideal career choice because she's made a $55 million fortune from it by now.
Cruz tied the knot to fellow actor Javier Bardem in 2010, and together, they have two children—a son and a daughter. The beauty in the Cruz family has got to come genetically because her sister, Monica Cruz, is also a stunning actress herself. Cruz will star in 355 and Official Competition in the coming years.
Charlize Theron
With her shiny golden hair waving at all times, Charlize Theron is as beautiful as the sunset. The 44-year-old South African-American star is a lot more than just an actress. She has also ventured into producing, while also single-handedly raising her two adoptive children.
Some of Theron's praiseworthy work in recent years has been on The Fate of the Furious and Bombshell. Once again, you can see her work her talents in the upcoming movies, The Old Guard and F9. The fact that she's only still 44 paired with her killer looks, we can safely assume her work to last for years if not decades more.
Halle Berry
Halle Berry is now 53 years old. When compared to her looks from the '90s and early 2000s, it's almost as if she hasn't aged a day. Remember that her looks don't come from layers of makeup. Berry is living proof of Coco Chanel's saying, "simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance."
Some of her best work as an actress was on Monster's Ball (for which she won an Academy Award), Boomerang, Catwoman, and Die Another Day. Soon you will see her on Bruised—a movie made under her direction.
