As we’re now all forced to stay at home due to the coronavirus outbreak, some of us can’t help but being hopeful and plan our vacations! There are some places around the world, that are really worth visiting. Thankfully, some of our favorite celebs have already gone there!

Just in case someone's looking for ideas, here are some celebrity-approved places around the world. As it turns out, there seem to be certain traveling trends going around when it comes to having 5-star holidays. No matter one’s taste, we have a recommendation for everyone, both in the American continent, and all the way across the Atlantic.

Kourtney Kardashian - Egypt

We can’t properly keep up with the Kardashians unless we follow them on social media. After all, there are some aspects of their lives that they don’t share on their show. One of Kourtney’s favorite destinations is apparently Cairo, Egypt. She went there in 2017 with her then-boyfriend Younes Bendjima.

They stayed at the Four Seasons hotel by the Nile River. Kourtney visited the pyramids and bathed at the Red Sea and El Gouna, away from the spotlight. She later shared her experience on Instagram and on her website, Poosh. She might’ve been away from home, but with her $35-million fortune, she got to enjoy all kinds of luxuries!

Reese Witherspoon - The Bahamas

She owns many vacation houses all over the States. In fact, in 2019 she bought a $6.25-million worth villa in Malibu. But there’s no place that screams vacation for Reese Witherspoon more than the Bahamas. After all, she has been going there at least since 2013 with her family and children.

She’s been quite busy recently with The Morning Show series. Whenever Reese goes off-grid, however, she’s not doing it hiking with a backpack like in Wild, but in luxury and style, as her $240-million net worth allows her to do so. Year by year, she and her children get to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean from the Bahamas.

Kate Hudson - Italy

In 2018, just months after she had her youngest baby daughter, Rani, Kate Hudson went on a journey in Italy. She wasn’t alone, however, as she had her partner, Danny Fujikawa, and her family, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, by her side. They embarked on a private yacht and sailed the Amalfi Coast towards the beautiful Positano Village.

Europe seems to be a celeb-favorite destination, after all, it’s hard to come by such views anywhere else. Kate’s $80-million fortune must surely allow her to take some time-off sailing in the Mediterranean. In the future, we’re expecting to see her in Music and Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon films.

Gabrielle Union - Greece

Just as Dwyane Wade finished announcing his retirement from NBA, he and Gabrielle Union hit the road, landing themselves in Greece, in 2019. They had gone through an incredibly busy year, with Gabrielle judging America’s Got Talent and Dwayne playing his last season ever with Miami Heat.

It seems as though the waters of the Aegean Sea were perfect for them to be able to take some time off and relax. They visited the island called Hydra and posted pictures all over their social media, using the hashtag #WadeWorldTour2019. Gabrielle recharged her batteries and went on to play in L.A.’s Finest.

Chrissy Teigen & John Legend - Italy

Without a doubt, Italy holds a special place in the hearts of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. Not only did they have their wedding there, in 2013, but they’ve also revisited their favorite places long after the ceremony. In fact, in 2019 they went on a yacht Italian tour; this time as a family of four.

They got to eat all kinds of traditional Italian food; anything from pasta to ice cream. In fact, in her blog, Chrissy even shared that she learned how to cook some of it. In 2020 John’s expected to go on his Bigger Love Tour, meanwhile, Chrissy, to participate in Fries! The Movie documentary.

Kristin Cavallari - Mexico

There aren’t many places that Kristin Cavallari enjoys visiting more than Mexico. The first time we saw her vacating there was in 2017. Just two years later, her and her family spent almost six weeks there, in Baja Sur. In 2019 she hosted Paradise Hotel there, and apparently her husband and her three children tagged along.

Though we do not know where exactly she was staying at the time, the place apparently had an infinity pool, as she shared many pictures in it on her Instagram account. The show aired successfully, and she’s since continued making the Very Cavallari series, as she’s been doing since 2018.

Margot Robbie - Australia

Although she lives in California, knowing that Margot Robbie’s from Australia, makes the fact that she spends a lot of time there unsurprising. In fact, she’s even said to have bought her very own $3.8-million worth beachfront house in Byron Bay. She sets off Down Under with every chance she gets.

In fact, she even urged her fans to donate to charitable organizations that helped with the 2020 wildfires in Australia. All eyes have been on Margo since she played Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. She’s now expected to reprise that role in the film with the same name, in 2021.

Lauren Bushnell & Chris Lane - St. Barths

Just before they announced their engagement, Lauren Bushnell and Chris Lane spent some time in St. Barths, Gustavia. The little island in the Caribbean Sea is the perfect place for such a loving couple as them. Not only does it have incredible views, but it’s also extremely romantic.

No wonder they decided to tie the knot shortly after their vacation in 2019. They didn’t wed there though, but back in Nashville once the summer had officially ended. Lauren might’ve gotten famous by winning The Bachelor, but Chris Lane for his musicianship. He now has scheduled shows all over the States for 2020.

Bobby Berk - Vietnam

Knowing how Bobby Berk’s husband is Vietnamese, seeing him spending a lot of time vacating there was to be expected. Bobby crossed the ocean most recently at the beginning of 2020. He made sure to post pictures and updates from his trip to Vietnam on his social media accounts.

They’ve reportedly been together for almost a decade now, and they are still going strong to the day. As Bobby’s been keeping quite busy in the past couple of years with Queer Eye, his husband, Dewey Do likes to keep private and away from the spotlight. In 2020 Bobby also participated in Taylor Swift: Miss Americana.

Eva Longoria - France

As it turns out, one of Eva Longoria’s favorite destinations is France, as she’s been spotted there on many occasions since 2015. In fact, in 2019 she even walked the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival with her husband, José Antonio Brown, and their baby son, Santiago.

She’s been finding time in her busy schedule as an actress and a mother to cross the Atlantic and hasn’t shied away from showing off her travels on her Instagram. Eva’s now worth $35 million. In 2020 she participated in Sylvie’s Love and A Celebration of the Music from Coco.

Jenna Fischer - Florida

When Jenna Fischer went on vacation in 2019, she didn’t cross the ocean like others in this list, but the country. She went from her home in California to the three-hours-ahead Florida to sunbathe. Of course, her $15-million net worth allows her to travel from time to time, but on the other hand, her busy acting schedule doesn’t.

Everyone needs some time to themselves, and what better place to take it than Florida? Jenna’s most recent project was the Splitting Up Together TV series that started in 2018 and has aired two seasons so far. In 2020 she even appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show for an interview.

Naomie Olindo - Iceland

When Naomie Olindo decided to go abroad for a vacation in one of the Atlantic’s most northern destinations, she let a traveling agency do all the planning for her; a choice which she didn’t regret. She visited Iceland with her friend, Ginny Cox in the summer of 2019.

According to her, visiting Iceland is a trip that she’ll never forget. She got to see the Blue Lagoon and Reykjavik, the capital. Meanwhile, the Southern Charm series, in which she’s been participating since 2018, is about to start airing the newest season in 2020.

Demi Lovato - Bora Bora

In 2019, Demi Lovato went on vacation in the French Polynesia Islands, in Bora Bora. Not only did she wind up falling in love with the place, but also with herself! After all, almost a year later, she released her newest single called I Love Me.

She went there with a group of close friends, including Sirah. It’s safe to say that it was her first time in Bora Bora, as she seemed utterly excited to be there. When she returned home, Demi posted an unedited picture of her in a bikini, spreading body positivity.

Julianne Hough - Greece

Not only did Julianne Hough get to spend time in Santorini Island with her husband in the summer of 2019, but she also went to Athens to visit the Parthenon. It was right after she finished judging in America’s Got Talent when she got this very well-deserved break from the spotlight.

Julianne got married to Brooks Laich two years before they crossed the Atlantic Ocean together. She made sure to post updates on her Instagram account and share her admiration for the Greek culture. In 2020 she participated in an episode of The Goop Lab documentary series.

Beyoncé & Jay Z - France

There’s no doubt in the world when it comes to Beyoncé and Jay Z being one of the most loved couples in America right now, on top of one of the richest. Together they amass a fortune equal to $1.4 billion! One of their favorite places to go when on vacation, is apparently France.

In fact, Beyoncé shocked the crowds in 2018 when she walked the red carpet at The Cannes Film Festival in an eye-catching pink dress paying homage to Deepika Padukone, the Indian actress. They’ve also been sighted on a (probably) rental yacht with their daughter Blue Ivy, sailing the Mediterranean.

Rita Ora - Spain

She represents European pop culture, so we think Rita Ora is probably used to sunbathing in the Mediterranean by now. After all, whenever she goes on tour, she makes sure to add countries like Spain on her list. In 2019 she posted pictures from her Spanish vacation in Ibiza, among other places, on Instagram.

Her slim physique and the stunning scenery gave her pictures countless likes within seconds. Rita’s now a judge on the British The Masked Singer competition. She has also announced to continue the Phoenix World Tour in 2020, with shows scheduled in Europe, South America, and Asia.

 

Hilary Duff - Hawaii

For the first time in 2017, and then a couple of years later, Hilary Duff seems to be enjoying her time in Hawaii a lot. After all, she’s been known to visit there on her downtime. Especially in 2019, when she went there on vacation with her new husband, Matthew Koma and their month-old daughter.

Hilary’s now a mom of two. Although she likes to keep much of her life private, especially when it comes to her children, she occasionally posts picture-updates of their lives on social media. Even though she’s given birth twice, she still looks amazing in a bikini. In 2020 she’ll play in Lizzie McGuire.

Shay Mitchell - Greece

Right after the Pretty Little Liars series came to an end in 2017, Shay Mitchell was able to cross one thing off her bucket list; go to Greece. She jumped on a plane and landed herself on the island of Mykonos. Thankfully we saw all of her trip's details as she uploaded it on YouTube.

She had an amazing time exploring all the beaches and eating traditional food with her friends. By now, her YouTube channel has more than 4.2 million subscribers. Although her days as the character Emily Fields are over, Shay’s now playing in Dollface since 2019. That year, she also had a daughter with Matte Babel.

Lucy Hale - Hawaii

Speaking of the Pretty Little Liars series, we couldn’t help notice what Lucy Hale likes to do on her vacation time. Clearly, there’s no place she enjoys more than Hawaii, as she’s been sighted sunbathing there many times in the past decade. The last time she went there was in 2018, with her then-boyfriend and co-star, Riley Smith.

It was the same year when they broke it off as a couple, and when Life Sentence aired. She might not have gone back to Hawaii since, but she’s been keeping quite busy. In fact, in 2020 she starred in Katy Keene and played in Son of the South.

Emily Ratajkowski - Italy

She’s one of Europe’s most famous models, so naturally, Emily Ratajkowski likes to travel around a lot. One of her favorite places to visit, both for work and for her downtime, is apparently Italy. In fact, she was there during the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak in 2020. Thankfully, she left the country healthy as ever.

She’s never shied away from showing off her well-maintained body, and the Italian beaches are the perfect place for her to do so. She’s been sighted vacating there many times this last decade. She’s even filmed the Welcome Home there, with Aaron Paul, in 2018.

Miley Cyrus - Italy

At the time, Miley Cyrus’ divorce to Liam Hemsworth was but a rumor. That all came to an end, however, when she went on her Italian vacation with her then-girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter. They reportedly rented a penthouse that was going for $750 per night. Given Miley’s $160-million fortune though, it was quite affordable!

Her and Liam’s divorce was only just finalized. Around the same time when she became legally single, Miley released She Is Coming, and is now getting ready for her newest, titled She Is Miley Cyrus. For now, she settled for hosting the Bright Minded Instagram-based show where she interviewed celebs like Elton John and Zoe Kravitz.

Adele - Grand Canyon

In 2019 Adele announced her separation from her husband, Simon Konecki. As they’re trying to keep their divorce details secret, Adele’s made a comeback on social media. In 2019, she posted pictures of her vacations, on a yacht at the sea, and on what appears to be the Grand Canyon.

She was apparently traveling with friends, and as far as the pictures go, she had a smile from ear to ear. By now, Adele’s worth anywhere around $150 million, so we can imagine that she had all kinds of luxuries while holidaying. In early 2020 she announced her upcoming album for that year’s September.

 

Katharine McPhee - Greece

By now, it should come without a doubt saying that when celebs cross the ocean, they often find themselves in Mykonos, Greece. Katharine McPhee is of no exception, as she’s broken the internet with here Mykonos-vacation selfies. She visited the island in 2019 with David Foster, shortly before tying the knot.

They didn’t get married on the island though, as they went back to London to walk down the aisle. For 2020 we are expecting to see Katharine playing in The Tiger Rising movie. Meanwhile, some of her other favorite vacation spots according to her Instagram are Mexico and Italy.

Vanessa Hudgens - Italy

Even though Vanessa Hudgens has only just announced her separation with Austin Butler, we can’t help but notice how much they loved going to Italy as a couple. In fact, they went there at least twice; once in 2016 and then again in 2019. They were together since 2011.

The last time the went to Italy, they went to Sardinia. Hudgens was taking a break from social media at the time, but the Italian scenery made her come back and post beautiful pictures of them together. They have called it quits now, but at least Vanessa’s keeping busy. In 2020 we’ll be seeing her in Bad Boys for Life.

Britney Spears - Miami

It’s no secret that Britney Spears lives in sunny California. When it comes to her downtime though, she likes spending it all the way across the country, in Miami, Florida. She’s sunbathed in Miami many times, however, the last time we saw her there was at around the same time she turned 39, in December 2019.

After all, what’s a better way to celebrate her birthday other than on a jet ski in December? She wasn’t alone though, but with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari. It’s clear that Britney’s been focusing on herself while on hiatus. She might not be making any music, but at least she’s active on social media!

Steve Martin - St. Barts

For many years Steve Martin and his wife, Anne Stringfield, were enjoying the marvelous views of the ocean from the St. Barts island. However, in 2015 Steve decided to let go of their house, selling it at a $7.78-million asking price. The house itself featured a two-level swimming pool and four bedrooms over a 3,000-square-foot interior.

Although there’s no reason we can think of for him to let go of such beauty, he did. In fact, he’d been trying to sell the property for some years, having first listed it in 2013. In 2020 he wrote and acted on the short film called Cruel Shoes.

Leonardo DiCaprio - Malibu

He has a $260-million fortune and houses all over the States. In fact, Leonardo DiCaprio even owns an island in Belize! There’s hardly any place that Leo loves more than Malibu. After all, he’s owned at least a couple of houses there over the years.

He bought the first one in the late ‘90s shortly after Titanic was released. He then purchased yet another one, which he wound up selling in 2017 for $17.35 million. It’s safe to say that he enjoys sunbathing underneath Malibu’s sun. He’s now taking a break before acting in Killers of the Flower Moon.

Gigi Hadid - Greece

Though according to her Instagram account Gigi Hadid had a great time visiting Mykonos with her sisters in 2019, they also apparently got robbed and never plan on returning. Much like any other person would do, Gigi took to her social media to express her frustration after the incident.

It’s not unheard of for celebrities to visit Mykonos, but what’s peculiar in this story is for them to get robbed. According to Gigi, they stole all their expensive possessions, including jewelry. No matter what, Gigi’s $20-million fortune was barely affected. In 2020 she’s set to participate in a Model Moms episode.

Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguez - Italy

It’s one of Italy’s better-known tourist attractions, and of course, Jennifer Lopez hasn’t gone without noticing it. She and Alex Rodriguez visited Capri back in 2018, and it’s safe to say that they still remember every single detail of their trip. Jenifer made sure to post many couple-pictures of them underneath the Mediterranean sun.

Almost one year after their vacation, they announced their engagement. Although they've yet to marry, we can’t wait for them to do so. In the meantime, Jennifer’s, ironically, expected to play in the film called Marry Me in 2020. No wonder this busy lady has earned a $400-million fortune.

Kim Kardashian - The Bahamas

Much like other A-list celebrities in this list, one of Kim Kardashian’s favorite destinations is the Bahamas. Apparently, she’s gone there at least twice since 2017. The first time, it was reported that she and Kanye went on a $440K-worth four-day trip around the islands. She went back two years later, this time with her children.

In fact, the pictures she posted on Instagram with her and her children wearing matching bathing suits went viral within minutes! After all, she does have over 164 million followers on her personal page. In 2020 she appeared on both The View and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for interviews.
