Lilly Singh - Attracted to Both Men & Women

Lilly Singh is a well-known YouTuber and she is going to host a television show in the immediate future. In February 2019, Lilly used Social Media to make a statement about how her gender, her attraction to both men and women, and color had sometimes been real barriers in her life and well-being.

Michael D. Cohen - Transgender Man

The famous actor, acting teacher, and coach Michael D. Cohen opened up about being transgender. He specifically said he always considered himself as a male and all he did was have this mistake fixed.

At the beginning of his career, he was given female roles until 2000, when his gender reassignment started taking place. He also mentioned that it was about time to talk in public about it, as he had witnessed ill-treatment and abuse. He has categorically said that the persecution of any group of people should concern everyone because it affects us all.

Tyler Blackburn - Attracted to Both Men & Women

Tyler Blackburn, an actor with two awards and two nominations for his appearance in the series Pretty Little Liars,  revealed to The Advocate his personal orientation. He stated that everyone expected him as a teenager to be able to identify his preferences on this subject at such an early age.

Society's expectations made him suffer from some sort of anxiety, and for many years, he was unable to appeal to people of the same gender, although deep down, he wanted to. Later on, as an adult, he decided to let himself free and open himself up to new experiences he deeply desired. Now, he identifies himself as being attracted to both men and women.

Sam Smith - Gay

From the beginning of his career, everyone was interested in knowing Sam Smith's personal orientation, although he never actually tried to hide it. During an interview with Fader magazine in 2014, while talking about In the Lonely Hour, Sam explained how the song referred to an unfulfilled love of his with a man. After that, he made it clear - discarding any mask - that he was gay.

On Instagram, Sam shared his experience while he discovered his identity, explaining how he thought of himself as having many qualities that couldn't be included just in one gender. He doesn't identify himself as a man or a woman; he believes that he is somewhere in the middle.

J.J. Totah - Transgender Woman

We've known J.J. Totah since we were younger watching the Disney Channel and specifically Champions. But it was about time she introduced herself properly in a Time magazine essay in August 2018. Meet Josie Totah, a transgender woman, and not a gay boy, as many people easily assumed.

She started her gender reassignment therapy when she was a teenager, making it easier for herself to feel right about her new life. She made it loud and clear that she was a transgender woman. Josie is a she, and never a he again. Make sure she knows you got it, as she really feels strongly about it. Wouldn't you?

Michael C. Hall - Straight with Gay Thoughts

Michael C. Hall is a great actor and most of us met him from the series Dexter. Michael always gives us food for thought, first when he was diagnosed with cancer during Dexter and how he managed to overcome this illness without quitting his job. And now, he's been troubling us with his not-so-clear preferences.

Well, he is married - to a woman. Actually, he has been married to three women and has gotten a divorce twice. But he claims he doesn't feel completely straight since there is a part of him that thinks about other men, although he has never acted on those thoughts...yet!

Abbi Jacobson - Attracted to Both Men & Women

Abbi Jacobson is an actress who has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy two times. Before April 2018, Abbi Jacobson's personal orientation had never been questioned. Only when Vanity Fair cared to ask, did she reveal that she was attracted to both men and women.

As it happens, she doesn't care about someone's gender. All she cares about is the personality and life quality, and by that, she doesn't mean someone's credit card, but someone with a passion for life. It sounds like a healthy way to appreciate people. Don't you think?

Daya - Attracted to Both Men & Women

In October 2018, Daya announced for the first time in a quite effective way on Instagram, her preferences. She has encouraged everyone to listen to their instincts for there are no other means of finding happiness.

She made it loud and clear that she is attracted to both men and women. At this moment, she is in a relationship with a girl, and she seems totally fulfilled with that. Daya has also expressed her gratitude for the support of her family and her close circle, despite having some hard moments, and she wishes to stand by those who aren't lucky enough to have been accepted.

Once upon a time, Rita Ora, Charlie XCX, Cardi B, and Bebe RExha created a song, in which Rita expressed her desire to kiss girls. Well, there are those who might be curious to try it perhaps. Who could resist the smile of a pretty girl with all that care she gives to her face?

So, Rita put things straight by saying that she enjoys equally the company of men and women and she felt that she should not justify her life choices to anyone. Maybe in a perfect world, everyone would only care about their own business.

Ronan Farrow - Part of the LGBT Community

Ronan Farrow, whose famous mother is Mia Farrow,  is a journalist awarded with a Pulitzer Prize, which is like Oscars but for writers. Most importantly though, he was the one who exposed Harvey Weinstein and his indecent assaults.

After a long silence on his personal life, Ronan has announced that he belongs to the LGBT community. It happened during the Point Foundation ceremony when he was honored with a Courage Award. Such a young person and a bright mind! Let's hope his courage and willpower will be a source of inspiration for many people.

Paris Jackson - Attracted to both Men & Women

It's hard enough to be famous but it's even harder to be the King of Pop, Michael Jackson's daughter. People demand to know every little detail about your personal life. So one day, some of Paris' fans had asked if she liked both men and women.

After this incident, model Paris Jackson felt it was time to end all speculations. Therefore, she made a strong statement, in which she expressed how much she hated tags. There is not a word fit to describe her actual personal orientation and she's made it clear that she only cares about someone's personality, not someone's gender.

Jason Mraz  - Attracted to Both Men & Women

Jason Mraz's followers thought he might not be sharing everything about his personal orientation when Jason published a poem on Billboard.com dedicated to the LGBTQ community in June 2018. Ignoring the fact that it was a quite shallow conclusion since many straight celebrities fight for and stand by the LGBTQ community, they were right.

Later on, he announced while being interviewed by Billboard that he enjoyed equally men's and women's company. Some of you might wonder if his wife knew about this before the wedding. She confessed that she actually did have knowledge of his preference for both genders, and she also analyzed it in a quite spiritual way.

Garrett Clayton - Gay

Another Disney Channel's celebrity decided it was about time that we meet the true adult side of his. It was a sunny summer day and Garret Clayton was holding his phone, scrolling through Instagram when he suddenly decided to announce that he was gay. He tagged screenwriter Blake Knight and went on talking about Reach, a movie he created because these issues concerned him.

It is personal for him and it is personal for his boyfriend. But it can go without saying that this is bigger than these two people. It is personal for far too many people and it's great that Garret has given them the opportunity to be heard through his voice.

Tessa Thompson - Attracted to Both Men & Women

It's quite common when actors or actresses are being interviewed about common features there might be between themselves and their characters. So, in the case of Tessa Thompson and  Valkyrie from Thor Ragnarok, a common feature is their attraction to both men and women. Luckily, her family is more than supportive.

Tessa responded to some rumors about her being a couple with Janelle Monae who revealed that she was attracted to both genders. She replied carefully, saying that they have a great connection and intimacy. Should we be waiting for an engagement announcement? Seriously though, she made it loud and clear that they both want to preserve their personal life from overexposure.

Brendon explained that gender means nothing, he just loves meeting bright people with extraordinary characters and kind souls. That might explain why he has great communication with his audience - a skill that makes him an awesome frontman.

Ariana Grande - Attracted to Both Men & Women

Singer Ariana Grande, the artist with the great voice and trademark ponytail won her first Grammy award in 2019 and chose a whimsical way to reveal her personal orientation by releasing her new single Monopoly, with Victoria Monét in April 2019.

The song's lyrics lead people to believe that Ariana is opening up about being attracted to both men and women. One of her fans though felt the need to write on Twitter that Ariana would never put a mark on herself. Ariana herself answered calmly that until now, she never felt the need to do so.

Amandla Stenberg - Gay

For those who do not recognize this talented lady, she is Amandla Stenberg, a young and graceful actress known from the movies The Hunger Games. In Amandla's case, she announced her preference for women in July 2018.

Despite her previous statements in 2016 in which she claimed that she was interested in both men and women, she revealed to Wonderland magazine that she was gay and very happy at that. This was her latest announcement about her personal orientation. Let's hope that she is not hiding anything else from us anymore.

Kevin McHale - Gay

We can notice a pattern in the way some celebrities choose to reveal their personal orientation; they sometimes use their songs. Well, Kevin McHale wouldn't go into much trouble. It was much easier for him to just post an Ariana Grande song called No Tears Left To Cry explaining that this song surpassed his 'gayness.'

It was quite an imaginative way for his first public admission of his personal orientation. Maybe Ariana should thank him for some excellent Social Media marketing for Kevin caused a small domino effect on Twitter, especially when he appeared with Austin P. McKenzie cuddling and uploaded some pictures with another man.

Joey Pollari - Gay

He is an actor who performed in American Crime and Love, Simon. We are talking about Joey Pollari, who has been awarded as a teenager with Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries or Special - Leading Young Actor at the Young Artist Awards.

Anyway, he talked publicly about his preference in men in March 2018 and according to his own statement at The Advocate, he waited until the age of 18 to talk to his parents and close circle about it. Fortunately, he has finally stopped hiding and now feels free to be himself with everyone.

Sasha Lane - Gay

We met Sasha Lane for the first time on American Honey,  a young and highly promising actress. She revealed her personal orientation while talking about her movie The Miseducation of Cameron Post, while she was taking part in the Sundance Film Festival. Is this a movie prop, Sasha?

In fact, not only did she talk about her being gay, but also revealed the personal orientation of her brother, Sergio Darcy Lane. It's actually really nice that the siblings have likely created a supportive environment for each other. Brothers and sisters are the best allies after all.

Lee Pace - Attracted to Both Men & Women

The W magazine irritated Lee Pace when they asked him about his personal orientation. Oh no, W, you dared to mess with Ronan from Guardians of the Galaxy! As the prophecy foretold, Lee started a whole domino effect, with interview and tweeting, and admitted he's interested in both men and women, but that should not really concern anyone.

Lee's patience is limited as far as his privacy is concerned, especially after an invasive phone call. He specifically said that he doesn't hide his identity or feel ashamed about it. On the contrary, he is open and actually loves playing LGBTQ roles in a proper way. He just hates it when people get nosy!

Bella Thorne - Attracted to Both Men & Women

Bella Thorne is an actress, young, and full of joy. You would be too if you had won seven awards and been nominated 23 times in your early 20s - more than enough reason to smile! People wanted to learn more about her so she was asked about her personal preferences.

Bella wasn't extremely talkative but also didn't mind answering a follower's question about her personal orientation. She revealed that she is attracted to both men and women and she's very moved and happy seeing that people are being supportive of her. Well, it's a good fact that nowadays most people are more open-minded.

Kehlani - Queer

As far as Kehlani, the famous singer with a perfect smile is concerned, she didn't just give a statement about her personal orientation. She offered extensive analyses explaining in full detail that she was attracted to everyone. Well, she noted that she likes less straight men, but there can be exceptions to the rule, according to her.

Kehlani is very serious, though, about the label people give her by mistake. She only accepts the word queer, she feels strongly about it, and she shall count any inconsiderate behavior as an assault.

Aaron Carter - Attracted to Both Men & Women

Everyone whispers about Aaron Carter to be having plenty of problems, quite common ones actually like like mental health issues, financial challenges, etc. A great move of his, though, was when he finally shared publicly his personal orientation in August 2017.

He admitted he had been involved with a dancer when he was a teenager and he was, and still is, attracted to both men and women. Now, he finally feels relieved. However, he made it clear to HollywoodLife once and for all that, he may be attracted to both genders, but he would want to get married to a woman one day in order to have kids.

Shannon Purser - Attracted to Both Men & Women

Being a celebrity is a tricky business and sometimes, one might find it difficult to decide which aspects of his/her life must be publicly shared. Shannon Purser is famous and loved among everyone, for those who watch Stranger Things anyway, but no one, until 2017, knew about her personal life and orientation. She holds her personal life close to her chest.

She changed her mind though, and after revealing her personal preference to her parents and close circle, she decided it was about time that she announced publicly she was interested in both men and women.

Alia Shawkat - Attracted to Both Men & Women

We hope you had the chance to see Alia Shawkat in 2019's film Animals or if not, on the TV series, Arrested Development. She's an actress who's been awarded five times until now. Alia didn't mind talking to Out magazine about her attraction to both men and women.

The most interesting and maybe unexpected thing, as far as her statement is concerned, is that her experience in dealing with both parts of her personal orientation has helped her evolve in her acting abilities. For those who hadn't noticed, that was a free drama lesson for anyone interested. Class dismissed!

Gordon Thomson - Gay

Gordon Thomson told us a very interesting story and gave us a lot to think about. He grew up at a time when society was much less friendly to gay people than today. So he found it really hard and maybe he would never have talked about his personal orientation if it weren't for his particular role on Dynasty, the TV series.

He considers himself as homophobic exactly because it is hard for him to be open about himself. Well, when most people of his age only talk about retirement, we say it's remarkable he's found the courage to share his story with us. Better late than never, Mr. Thomson!

Alyson Stoner - Attracted to Everyone

One more actress who's known from Disney Channel, Alyson Stoner wrote and published in Teen Vogue a piece, explaining how she doesn't care about gender or anyone's personal orientation when it comes to who she is attracted to.

She's interested in everyone and all she cares about is one's personality and quality. She shall award everyone willing to accept this side of hers with a gold prize. Okay, that was not a funny joke, but seriously now, she really wants to be accepted the way she truly is. Deep down, no matter one's personal orientation, this is everyone's biggest wish: to be accepted. 

Jordan Gavaris - Gay

Jordan Gavaris is an actor who has been awarded Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Program or Series at the Canadian Screen Awards, CA. But he is not completely satisfied.

Jordan expressed a complaint to Vulture in  June 2017. Apparently, no one ever cared enough to learn about his personal orientation. We're sorry Jordan, we didn't mean for it to happen, so please take off the mask and reveal your self to us. And so he did by telling us he was gay.

Sarah Paulson - Gay

Back in 2015, actress Sarah Paulson congratulated her beloved Cherry Jones with a kiss when she won a Tony Award. Soon, in an interview with No Tofu magazine, she implied that people were reacting as if her mental health was at stake. However, all she did was to make a move that each and every one of us would do in her position. She wouldn't treat her sweetheart like a bro, just to avoid unreasonable criticism.

Later on, Sarah announced her relationship with Holland Taylor, to whom she addressed a few words when she accepted an Emmy in 2016. Admittedly, she is a talented actress and a beautiful and genuine person.
